Browser Emulation
Search engines don’t like the repeated requests to their databases, specially when it occurs for a long time. They suspect that such requests could originate from some software program, not human searchers. Search engines don’t like the softwares imitating this behavior. The reason is because when humans perform browsing, they visit the search engine’s home page first, perform a search, pause between searches they do, request pages at the URLs provided as search results, etc. Of course, some softwares are built in a way that emulate human-conducted browsers’ activities. This action is called browser emulation.
